Filet mignon with grilled vegetables and apple

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 g beef tenderloin  
  • 1 tablespoon butter  
  • 1 tablespoon truffle oil  
  • 200 g vegetables (carrot, bell pepper, zucchini)  
  • 1 apple  
  • 2 garlic cloves  
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil  
  • Salt and pepper to taste  
  • A few sprigs of rosemary for garnish  
  • Edible flowers for garnish

PREPARING

  1. Season the beef with salt and pepper. Heat a pan with olive oil and sear the meat on each side for about 3-4 minutes to achieve a medium-rare doneness. After cooking, set the meat aside to rest for a few minutes.
  2. Cut the vegetables and apple into even pieces. Heat a grill pan with a little olive oil. Add the garlic cloves and grill the vegetables for a few minutes until they are soft and slightly browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange the beef and vegetables in a bento box, adding edible flowers for garnish.
