INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 apple
  • Whipped cream
  • A pinch of salt
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • Maple syrup or honey

PREPARING

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Peel the apple and slice it thinly or cut it into small cubes. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Mix the batter: Add the milk, egg, and melted butter to the dry ingredients and stir until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
  3. Add the apples: Gently fold the apple pieces into the batter.
  4. Cook the pancakes: Heat a pan with a small amount of butter. Pour portions of the batter onto the pan, forming small pancakes. Cook over medium heat until bubbles form and the edges are golden. Flip and cook the other side until golden as well.
  5. Decorate: Place the pancakes in a lunchbox, drizzle with maple syrup or honey, top with whipped cream, apple slices, and finish with a sprinkle of chocolate sprinkles.
