INGREDIENTS
- 200–250 g thin-sliced European beef (sirloin or tenderloin)
- 1 cup cooked jasmine rice
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin or honey
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 clove garlic (grated)
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp cornstarch or potato starch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- Vegetable oil for frying
- For garnish: Cucumber or edamame, chives, toasted sesame seeds
